Purpose As a Payment Processing Specialist, you will process remittances through the OPEX 150, 30, 5.0 and Banctec High Speed Transports. You will ensure all remittances are processed correctly and identify payment discrepancies. You will prepare and complete daily bank deposits. You will adhere to data privacy policies regarding the security of each payment, as well as banking policies pertaining to the processing of each payment. You will analyze and correct returned payments for redeposit.See Yourself: Processing guest payments using the OPEX 150, 30, and 5.0 high speed mail extraction equipment and the Banctec High Speed Transports while maintaining department production and quality standards Assessing causes of equipment jams and productivity problems and notifying appropriate leaders Repairing minor malfunctions by replacing equipment parts Cleaning and maintaining equipment according to contract specifications Performing reconciliation on transactions not balanced by the operating system by researching and reprocessing rejected/missing items Preparing paper items and deposit tickets for delivery to the bank Accurately analyzing and resolving returns from bank using web based system Following the workflow, assisting where required Cleaning and maintaining work area as needed Completing special projects as assigned Job Requirements Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain high speed equipment in a fast-paced environment Outstanding accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills Able to stand/walk for extended periods Capable of lifting and carrying 25 pounds Total commitment to production and quality standards Basic PC skills with Windows experience Some knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping or auditing experience Effective in a large team environment Willing to adjust schedule for fluctuating mail volumes, including working a weekend rotation Desired Requirements: College degree or equivalent experience Previous banking or check processing experience See The Rewards Eligible team members will receive one of the best earnings packages anywhere, including competitive pay, all-around insurance coverage, 401(k), flexible scheduling, training and development and many other perks and benefits.
