Office Support Associate/ part-time Cashier

Hours are part-time.  Must be flexible on weekends and anywhere from 10am until 9pm at night.

 

Responsible for taking and processing customer payments, providing telephone coverage  , processing sales orders, arranging delivery/pick-up dates, managing a cash drawer and performing other duties to assist in providing prompt, effective customer service at the store level and on the phone. Assisting in working the daily reports.  Process financing purchases. Answering telephone inquiries and attend to customers' needs and properly directs them to the appropriate department (e.g. sales, customer service, delivery, etc.). Taking payments in addition to processing cash sales, finance sales and sales receipts. Arranging delivery/pick-up dates. Managing a cash drawer, taking in cash, making changes, and accurately balancing the cash drawer. Assisting in the preparation and the generation of reports. Assisting sales associates and customers in resolving complaints and/or referring problems to office management. Regularly entering data into GERS. Assists in daily closing procedures. Accurately balancing the cash drawers - including final cut-off and close out.  Creating CRM's, MCR's, MDB’s, Voids, Refunds( in store & to accounting) Even exchanges, and Uneven exchanges. Learn Gift certificates and coupon procedures.

 

Qualifications:

1.  Thorough knowledge of basic office procedures and customer service principles are required.

2.  Requires a minimum of six months of experience in retail cashiering.

3.  Must have outstanding communications skills and problem solving skills.

4.  Must be able to responsibly handle cash drawer responsibilities.
