Outside/Inside Retail Sales

The Grape Merchant is a unique wine boutique & bar featuring brand and boutique specialty wine.  Our store is located in the new Shops at Pembroke Gardens, where our discriminating clientele has come to recognize our focus on premier customer service.

 

We are seeking several wine savvy individuals, with a customer service focus.  We are seeking Inside Sales Associates to work in our retail store and wine bar and an Outside Sales Associate to run our Gift Basket sales office.

 

Our Inside Sales Associates are responsible for day to day sales, have input with the store manager for ordering products, contribute to the overall operation of the store, and maintain a team selling approach with other consultants and managers.  The Associate helps receive products, stocks, and manages inventory and special promotions.   

 

Our Outside Sales Associate will oversee the day to day operation of our Gift Basket office.  They will have the opportunity to seek out corporate clientele through cold calling and follow up from inbound client calls generated through our catalog mailings and internet marketing.  Our Gift Basket Sales Associate will manage our Gift Basket assembly, shipping, and delivery. 

 

Both opportunities are ground floor opportunities to grow with the company into management positions.

 

We have a strong "promote- from-within" culture.  Willing to train and cultivate wine knowledge and sales skills. 

 

Qualifications: Some wine knowledge, great customer friendly attitude, prior retail experience.  Some college preferred, bilingual spanish-english a plus.
