Purpose: As a Business Partner in Property Development Organizational Effectiveness supporting Store Design as your primary client, you will research, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain training programs, materials, and content for Target. The training and leadership development programs will deliver the Target Brand experience to the guest and team as it relates to the area supported. See Yourself: Conducting Needs Analysis: Partnering with the appropriate client groups to research, identifying, and analyzing training needs for relevant positions, both for ongoing training and new initiatives. Designing Training Solutions that correlate to the business problem: Conceptualizing potential deliverables for specific project and audience needs based on needs analysis and your knowledge of instructional design. Developing Courses, Tools, Job Aids, on-line reference materials, etc.: Developing learning objects and deliverables that achieve identified objectives and ensure successful execution of tasks. Including authoring Web-based training and reference information. Evaluating Programs: Designing and coordinating implementation strategies, including delivery model and supporting materials, for new and existing programs. Partnering with field training support personnel and other headquarters teams to effectively rollout solutions and achieve objectives. Evaluating Programs: Evaluating the short and long-term effectiveness of materials/programs. Designing evaluations measuring the user's response to training, the application of the learning, and the impact of the training on operations. Leading Projects: Leading training projects with major company impact. Ensuring that the right partners are included and be able to direct the team's involvement. It is often necessary to influence without authority. Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements: 4 year college degree. 3 years experience in training: curriculum/instructional design, development and assessment/evaluation. Strong written and oral communication skills and a desire to spend a considerable amount of time writing and editing. Experience with training development software. Excellent systems and process understanding. Strong initiative. High client credibility. Excellent project management/organization skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively. Passion for improving the experience of leaders and team members. Available to travel as needed.Desired Requirements: Web authoring skills. Advanced degree.
