We are currently offering a rewarding and challenging position as a Network Support Specialist in our corporate location in San Diego, CA.


Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide onsite support for network infrastructure and internal desktop and server systems, software, and hardware. This individual will repair, move, install, and maintain computer equipment, printers, and various peripherals; install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues. They will support remote locations with similar equipment using phone and remote desktop technologies.  This individual will maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security. They will recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades. They will participate in development of support services and infrastructure projects, and may conduct training programs designed to educate customers about basic and specialized applications. Some travel to major US cities and Canadian will be involved to support remote locations on a sporadic, as-needed basis.


Qualifications:Ability to support Windows 2008/2003/2000/XP/NT/98 networks, workstations and serversExperience staging and configuring both Windows workstations and servers;
Microsoft certification is a plusExperience imaging hard drives utilizing tools such as Symantec GhostExperience supporting Microsoft Windows Applications such as Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007; Exchange Server 2003/2007; SQL Server 2000/2005Experience both working in a team environment and unassisted at remote sitesMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills: good phone technique a mustHands-on experience troubleshooting networking, server, desktop, and configuration issuesExperience performing system installations, technology migrations, hardware upgrades, and repairsSAN administration experience a plusExcellent customer service skillsSome travel and light duty work required.Valid Driver’s License requiredAbility to travel domestically and internationally



Education:BS Degree in Computer Science or commensurate OTJ experienceA+ certifications a plus4+ years working experience in a networked environment
