This person will perform on-going in-store merchandising and product awareness in order to increase market share for our retail clients. This is an exciting position within Mosaic, and an excellent opportunity to work for an outstanding company on behalf of our retail clients. As a part-time Mosaic Merchandising Specialist, you will maximize retail awareness and sales of our client's products by conducting visits to your assigned stores on a multi-day schedule Monday-Friday. You will confirm that the client products are represented on the sales floor in proper quantities, are merchandised according to planogram specifics. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining on-floor stock levels and merchandising standards; placing point of purchase (POP) materials and price signage; and collecting and reporting detailed product and stock level information. You will work closely with retail associates and managers, informing them of new product releases and promotions. Your ability to build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with store personnel is key in achieving the goals of this program.General Responsibilities: - Conduct multiple weekly store visits according to the store-specific coverage model - Maximize visual presentation by stocking, facing, and pricing products - Create product awareness and added value placement opportunities in-store - Perform POG resets - Scan and report stock levels by title to generate order information - Consistently meet all program objectives - Complete all administrative duties in accordance with Mosaic client instructions - Display a professional demeanor while representing clients and MosaicExperience / Skills / General requirements: - Proven and successful track record in a retail merchandising environment - Experience influencing merchandise sales potential, and shelf & corrugate display placement decisions by store management - Experience communicating with store management and associates as well as building positive relationships with all - Success in meeting performance goals within a structured environment - Independent, self-motivated and organized - Attention to detail and ability to multi-task - Flexible and adaptable - Available to conduct weekly visits to your assigned stores on a multi-day schedule Monday-Friday (some early morning work required) - Reliable daily transportation to travel within your territory - Must be at least 18 years of age - Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship Technical: - 24-hour access to an IBM compatible computer with an operating system of Windows 2000 or newer, along with connectivity, a printer, email and Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or newer)- Strong computer skills with the Internet and email - Capable of utilizing the latest in hand-held computer technology for data collection and reporting - Ability to complete online training as requiredPhysical Requirements of Position: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to operate a computer using both hands; stand and /or walk for up to 8 hours in retail environment; sit; reach with hands and arms; read, talk and hear; count and perform basic mathematic functions; sort, organize, and assemble things according to written instructions; regular lifting up to 50 lbs. to move stock or displays from the stock room to selling floor.
