(MD1)

 Overview

Kroger Mid-South Division offers a 19 week Management Development (MD1) Program.  It consists of in depth training from all aspects of a grocery store atmosphere.  Each candidate will be assigned to different stores for each module of training.  Upon the successful completion of this training program he/she will then be assigned to a store as a Co-Manager.  The primary focus of this candidate will be to effectively adhere to company policies and procedures; to ensure that he or she contributes to the best financial interests of the company; to provide exceptional customer service, keeping in mind that our customers come first in everything we do.  Benefits include: competitive salary, 401(K) participation (with company match), paid vacations, life insurance, stock options and bonus potentials.

 Desired Qualifications/ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required.Two-year degree or commensurate supervisory experience.Excellent decision making abilities.Effective written and verbal communication abilities.Leadership skills.Ability to motivate and inspire.Ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.Prior customer service experience a plus.
