Machine Operator

Stampin' Up! is looking for a full time employee who will coordinate the manufacturing process by operating vinyl production machinery and assuring the quality of the finished product. Provide instructions to the production team, close out orders, and ensure orders are accurate and complete.Essential Job Functions:Operate vinyl production machinery and shrink wrap machinery to assure the quality of the finished product. Follow the work order to assemble raw materials or bulk parts into sets.Articulate operational changes and problems to the maintenance technicians.Verify the product codes of labels on finished packages.Complete paperwork on each work order to include the finished box count.Provide leadership and necessary instruction to the production team members.Maintain a clean, safe work environment (sweep floor, remove debris, pick up pallets, crush cardboard, empty trash, etc.).Perform other functions as requested.

 

Requirements:Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must be able to bend, climb, reach, and lift up-to 30 pounds regularly, using appropriate lifting techniques and tools.Ability to count, read, write, and speak English.Attention to detail and the ability to find and correct errors.Must be able to follow instruction and direction while meeting productivity standards.Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and have the ability to perform basic computer tasks.Must have good dexterity and eye-hand coordination.Must possess a high degree of initiative with a willingness to perform all manufacturing related functions as needed.Must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods.
