MANAGER VENDOR PARTNERSHIP Job Summary The Manager, Vendor Performance is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Vendor Performance team to ensure continuous supply chain performance improvement, through compliance management, process alignment, vendor engagement, and utilization of metrics and scorecards to raise internal awareness to opportunities and solutions. Key Tasks and Responsibilities 1) Lead the Vendor Performance Team to enhance operational alignment with the Toys "R" Us vendor community. Educate vendors about operational processes, policies, and best practices. Enforce vendor compliance to standards and requirements to support Toys "R" Us' supply chain operations. 2) Build alliances with key internal partners to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive sustainable supply chain improvements through process re-engineering. 3) Coach and mentor direct reports to develop well-rounded and focused team players, who easily adapt to their professional environment and accomplish their personal professional goals. 4) Inform Senior Management about the impact of supply chain performance improvements. Secure executive support for investments in new technologies and programs to deliver best-in-class performance. 5) Through representation in industry groups and benchmarking with industry peers, ensure Toys "R" Us maintains standard practices and expectations. Use industry knowledge to capitalize on new practices and technologies to support the long-term supply chain vision. Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Marketing, MBA Preferred. Consumer products or Retail experience in inventory, buying, logistics or in consulting or supply chain management. Proven experience developing direct reports. Giving presentation to large audiences. Developing and presenting business cases for fact-based approach to driving change.
