Luxury Visual Merchandiser

SCOOP, "The Ultimate Closet", is seeking an experienced Visual Merchandiser to manage and direct all aspects of merchandising and display. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·  Building and maintaining every aspect of the overall visual statement of the stores

·  Generating sales and solving problem sales areas through knowledge of local Scoop NYC customer and the nature of the merchandise

·  Develop and train Managers, Assistant Merchandisers, and Sales Associates in creative presentation and placement of all goods as well as maintenance of the Scoop NYC aesthetic.

·  Provide creative direction regarding presentation and placement of merchandise & fixture use and planning.

·  Interpret corporate creative direction and reports in order to consistently develop and oversee all aspects of merchandise presentation.

Qualifications:3 years or more as a successful Visual/Merchandising ManagerStrong communication skills both written & oral.Must be able to motivate and inspire staff creativelyMust have a proven track record in developing, building and supervising a store teamMust have an ability to recognize and articulate any store problem or need in regard to generating sales to the appropriate people. Must have luxury and/or specialty retail experience
