Lead Software Developer (C#/.NET)-3rd Party Systems Integration

Barnes & Noble.com is looking for a hands-on, Lead Software Developer to join our Web Development team in the area of Seller Systems integration (3rd party).  This individual will be responsible for the existing systems that support third party sellers (of previously owned merchandise such as books) and will contribute to most phases in the project life-cycle including technical specification, design, implementation and support.

 

Requirements:

 5+ years software development experience in a team-engineering environment. This should include full project life cycle (i.e., analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and deployment). Outstanding problem solving skills in business and technology, initiative and teamwork are all a must. Applicants must be proficient in the following tools and technologies: Microsoft C#, and the .Net framework 2.0 Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Oracle database technologies (we're currently using 10g) Microsoft Visual Basic 6 (VB6) XMLXSLTRational Software Modeler and SOA design a plus. BA/BS, or equivalent experience, in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics.
