Location Glen Burnie, MD 21060 Status Full Time Job Category Sales/Retail/Business Development Career Level Entry Level Lands' End Shop Lead As a Lands' End Shop Lead, you will support the Sears and Lands' End management teams in the planning, productivity, control and direction of the Lands' End Shop. You will do this by managing the day-to-day operations of the Shop (i.e. workflow, sales goals, schedules), executing floor sets according to Lands' End Brand Standards, facilitating new hire orientation and product training, managing the flow of merchandise to the sales floor, and coaching consultants to ensure they are providing customers with a world-class shopping experience.Qualifications· Supports the Sears Softlines Assistant Store Coach and the Lands' End District Manager in developing a high performance team by assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Lands' End Shop (i.e. workflow, staff supervision, achieving sales goals, weekly schedules), along with training and coaching on product knowledge, visual merchandising presentation skills and customer service expectations to enhance sales· Able to effectively perform the day-to-day responsibilities of a Lands' End Shop consultant (i.e. servicing the customer, demonstrating product knowledge, processing customer transactions using POS system and Lands' End in-store direct sale kiosk)· Supports and actively participates in the recruitment, interview and selection process of all Lands' End Shop consultants· Executes and directs team on all floor resets and markdown activities· Ensures that the sales floor is set to Lands' End Brand Standards at all times· Leads by example in providing customers with a world-class shopping experience; utilizes consultative selling practices and guidelines to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions· Acts as a role model and personally contributes to Sears store and Lands' End Shop goals· Accompanies the Sears Softlines Assistant Store Coach and Lands' End District Manager during the Weekly Walk to assist in identifying areas of opportunity and developing action plans for improving the Shop's performance· Assists in resolving customer issues and complaints; escalates issues to Sears Softlines Assistant Store Coach and/or Lands' End District Manager as necessary· Facilitates efficient replenishment flow and representation of merchandise· Maintains a neat and orderly stock room to facilitate identification of merchandise to be brought to the sales floor· Adheres to merchandise protection standards· Performs other duties and projects as assigned by the Sears Softlines Assistant Store Coach and the Lands' End District Manager· Prior customer service and merchandising experience required· Prior retail store leadership experience strongly preferredInterested applicants must submit their cover letter and resume to:Kathryn GawlakPhone: 410.330.3450Email: kathryn.gawlak@landsend.com (DO NOT APPLY ONLINE)Sears is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
