Labor Standard Analyst
Main Responsibilities of the Labor Standard Analyst include the review of store systems, updating all company documents to reflect the changes, developing enhancements to the store systems. Work with the Manager of Store Systems and Development to develop programs to make efficiency and productivity a goal in the stores. Evaluation of the payroll system and allocation of hours in the stores.Essential Responsibilities:* Build, maintain, and update all labor standards. Review and validate these standards by conducting in store visits. Observe and talk with the store team to illicit their feedback. Provide feedback with solutions to improve or update the standards. Work also with the Master Planning Calendar Team to ensure all tasks are added based on store activity.* Analyze sales and payroll productivity for both forecast and allocation. Validate the rate and overtime by store/district/ and region. Provide support to the DTLs and RVPs in the management of store payroll costs.* Work with the Manager of Store Systems and Development to maintain the ACE Manual with any new WFM scheduling processes.* Develop enhancements or requests to make the new store systems easier for the store to use so time can be saved for guest service and the store is more productive. * Ensure that all testing of any new system upgrades are being completed by the system analyst.Education Requirements:Minimum: High School Education or College CoursesPreferred: BS or BA College Degree Experience Requirements:Minimum: 2 years Retail Store Experience for understanding of systems Preferred: 2 years Retail Management Store ExperienceOther Skills or Certifications:MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning tool/application/software package (POS or SAP)Dimensions/Competencies:* Leadership skills, The ability to challenge team members to a higher level by giving good direction, feedback, and follow up for their professional growth* Applies Strategic Thinking, Ability to take all projects, evaluate the potential outcome and impact to the business and set priorities for completion. Partners with the Manager of Store Systems and Development* Exercises sound Judgment, Ability to examine any issue and determine the root cause. Once defined develop possible solutions to the issue* Accountability and Results Orientation, Seeks out more responsibility without being asked and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency to achieve the results. * Communicate Effectively, Shares all information and able to express all opinions in a clear, nonconfrontational manner, utilizes good communication skills both verbally and in written form.
