We also believe in providing a collaborative work environment where your talents are recognized and you can see how your work impacts the organization.   With an increased focus on our online store, we are adding a Java Developer to our Technology team. The person in this role will work on projects that are vital to the growth and success of our business. This position is responsible for building Java-based, database driven applications as well as maintaining and enhancing existing applications.  The person in this role will have a passion for technology and enjoys collaborating with business partners to understand requirements and provide solutions that support our growing business. We use an Agile-like approach to development and use widely accepted Open Source projects like Apache, Tomcat, Spring, ANT, Jakarta, JUnit and Hibernate. We're seeking a Developer who thrives in this type of development environment and who's looking for a place where their talents are recognized. Our developers are expected to use the available tools to appropriately design software solutions before coding, unit test all appropriate code, Javadoc all public methods, participate in code reviews on a frequent basis and work closely with their business partners to understand requirements.  The ideal candidate will have a 3+ years of Java development experience with a focus on J2EE and cross browser functionality.  Experience with cross application integration is critical.  In addition we are looking for someone who is excited not only about the technology they are working in, but the company and team that they are a part of.   We offer a competitive salary and benefits including an outstanding work environment.
