International Auditor

GameStop may be just the place for you!!!We seek an International Auditor to conducting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance assessments and other financial, information systems and compliance audit projects; providing consulting services to the organization’s management and staff; and providing input to development of the annual audit plan.  Key international locations for GameStop include Canada, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom.  The successful candidate will be able to work under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment. Other responsibilities include:· Identifies and evaluates the organization’s risk areas and provides key input to the development of the annual audit plan.· Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence and documenting client processes and procedures.· Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos and prepares working papers.· Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.· Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and the audit committee.· Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers. Qualified candidates will possess the following:· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with preference given to candidates with a graduate degree or prior audit / general accounting experience.· CPA or CIA (candidates eligible to apply for certification or those in active pursuit of certification will also be considered, with preference given to candidates currently licensed).· Experience in retail auditing or accounting preferred.· Ability to travel approximately 10% - 30% of the year.  Actual travel levels will be predicated on needs of the business and department.· Knowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by The Institute of Internal Auditors. GameStop offers a comprehensive benefits plan, associate discounts, tuition reimbursement, causal and fun work environment that offers challenging assignments, located near DFW airport.  We are currently accepting resumes for this great opportunity.
