Instructional Designer - 85 & Clairmont

National Product Services (NPS) is seeking to hire an Instructional Designer.  As a member of the company’s training department, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing projects for two NPS divisions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 Writing and developing instructional materials that are instructionally sound for adults (including handbooks, multimedia visual aids, job aids, reference manuals, practical exercises, self-learning and  web-based instruction formats)Analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals and/or departmentsDeveloping training curricula and engaging appropriate leadership or subject matter experts to meet instructional goals and objectivesAbility to understand and interpret educational needs and develop effective soft skill solutions, working projects from concept through completionAdjusting documents to standards for style and format in training documents (including writing style, formatting, graphic design and layout)Building and maintaining relationships with customers at all levels in order to ensure ongoing, high quality level of serviceManaging time effectively through keeping priorities in order; maintaining general organizational skills through personal planningPerforming other duties and special projects, as assigned 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years industry experienceProficient in MS Office applicationsAdobe Captivate, In-Design, Flash desiredAbility to handle competing priorities and aggressive deadlinesAbility to recognize the need to take ownership and show initiativeStrong interpersonal skills; flexible personality
