About the Opportunity
Mindworks is an interactive toy store providing an innovative shopping experience for our customers.  We blend shopping, entertainment and technology to attract the entire airport audience.  Mindworks is an airport-exclusive concept and our merchandising and store design elements focus on the specific needs of the traveling customer, offering a fascinating place to spend time prior to departure.

 

We are searching for an experienced, driven retail manager to direct our new Mindworks operation in Houston.  Airport retail is a fast paced, constantly changing and challenging business.  We are seeking a manager who is excited about working in this environment. 

 

QualificationsAchieves sales budgetAchieves Customer Service StandardExecutes Stellar Stars Program to ensure store and merchandise standards Executes merchandising directions and digital plan-o-gramsOpens and closes store location, as scheduled.Responsible for controlling payroll and shrink.Participates in staff evaluations; executes disciplinary action and daily performance feedbackMaintains appropriate staff levels.Oversees the sales floor and provides leadership by fostering a sense of teamwork.Coaches and mentors staff on all policies, programs, and standards.Responsible for the integrity of the team’s cash handling practices.Communicates store problems, issues and challenges to the Director of Operations
