Financial Analyst with Oracle.
To Apply: Email Word Version Resume to andrea.gaipa@modis.com Modis IT is actively searching for an outstanding Financial Analyst who is available on contract bases with our client in San Bruno. The ideal applicant will show a track record of experience with Oracle 11i Financial Modules (Buyer, Admin), MS Suite, Visio and excellent understand of Financial Concepts. You will be responsible for the preparation, analysis and presentation of monthly and ad-hoc financial reports. Additionally you must assist in preparation of annual budget and current and future year forecasts. This consultant will take part with the review of administration of purchase requests and accounting documents. Analysis and presentation of monthly and annual fleet results/plans will also be required. Experience in accounting and finance including planning, analysis and financial reporting. A thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present financial analysis to management is essential. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word software and a working knowledge of reporting software. Must have 3-5 years of prior work experience as a Financial Analyst. Must Have: 3+ years experience as an Oracle Buyer (version 11i or 12i) Strong Excel skills (v lookups, pivot tables, data & cell linking, merging data from various workbooks) Highly Organized (experience working with high volume of purchase orders & reports) Strong Communication skills (must be able to take minimal direction, take initiative, ask intelligible questions, provide status updates) Someone who takes initiative and can research discrepancies with minimal direction. Strong Professionalism & level of maturity to work with vendors and perform financial troubleshooting. 3+ years experience working for large corporate financial department Below is a breakdown of the responsibilities as well. TASKS Warranty Reports (monthly) Serial Number Upload Report (monthly) Symbol Maintenance Report (monthly) New HQ Reports (monthly) New Store Order Status Report (weekly) Gather and review information regarding store construction charges and current store activity (daily) Analyze invoices, costs and business contracts from vendors (daily) PO Loader for all Oracle purchase orders for vendor paymentIndividual PO creation and tracking for bulk buy as part of a project or inventory replenishment Analyze and process VOVI’s for vendors/Create purchase orders for vendors Work closely with Accounts Payable/CSSC to ensure payments made (daily activity) Work closely with Construction Team/Accounting and IT Finance to ensure financial data is accurate (bi weekly) SKILLSETS Project Coordination/Management 2+ years Works well under pressure Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, v-lookup) 5+ years Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Power Point, Project) Advanced MS Visio for process flow diagram mapping Advanced Oracle 11i financial module skills 3+ years Database management (SQL) Detail oriented to track multiple project activities and financial impact General data query and extract into Excel for reporting detail Advanced knowledge of financial concepts for planning purposes Knowledge of key financial concepts (capital, expense, depreciation) Excellent communication across all levels of management Vendor relationship management and communication Extensive knowledge and execution in Financial and Business Analysis Process-flow documentation experience Experience with MS SharePoint Excellent ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks Sense of urgency for critical path activities Work independently with little direction on a consistent basis This is a contract opportunity.
