FACILITIES DIRECTOR

As the Facilities Director you'll be sharing your time equally between Regency Square and Stony Point and will participate as an integral member of the center management teams. You will lead and have overall responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and repair of the physical plant of the shopping centers. You will plan, organize, coordinate, direct, review and evaluate the construction projects, modification projects and maintenance of day-to-day operations for both facilities, including the preparation and administration of annual budgets and long range capital improvement plans.This is a rare opportunity to join a company that has a well-earned reputation for productivity, performance and flawless execution. Requirements: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred with 7 10 years relevant management experience.Responsible for managing people, projects and resources, including facilities personnel and a third party service providers. Knowledge of personnel procedures, hiring, development, discipline, discharge, etc., and strong organizational skills, are essential.General knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, phone/data, fire protection, and building automation systems. Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and contract documents.Ability to understand and effectively use computerized preventive maintenance, energy management, and life-safety systems.Ability to oversee tenant construction and contract service(s) and ability to work with contractors, vendors, merchants and building officials in a positive manner.Strong analytical skills, with experience in developing, managing, and forecasting budgets as well as creating strategic long range plans. Demonstrated computer skills in Excel, Word.Outstanding communication abilities; verbal, written and presentation skills. No phone calls please.
