Executive Director, Sales and Operations

Automotive Technologies, Inc. (ATI) is the parent company of the Wireless Zone franchise chain, retail stores solely dedicated to wireless communications products and services. There are more than 290 Wireless Zone locations throughout the Northeast, Mid Atlantic and Southern states.

We have an immediate need for an experienced sales director for our rapidly expanding Midwest locations.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, MIDWEST REGION SALES & OPERATIONS

 

Position Overview:

 

The Executive Director, Sales & Operations has profit and loss responsibility for the assigned franchise region. Provides the hands-on leadership and support required to assist franchisees to attain optimum levels of profitability and customer service.  Directly responsible for the carrier, corporate and franchisee relationships in assigned areas.  Also directly responsible for year over year growth in existing stores within assigned region.

 

Functional Responsibilities:

 

1. Management – Provide motivational leadership to franchisees and the Director of Stores, serving as the primary liaison between Corporate and the retail outlets.

2. Carrier Relations – The main contact and manager of the ongoing relations with the carriers in the assigned markets. Responsible to help develop relationships with additional carriers as needed.

3. Training – Oversee and execute the training programs for all franchise locations in the assigned markets.

5. Budgeting – Prepare fiscal year projections and forecasts; exercise overall fiscal responsibility for the assigned market. Responsible for assuring all stores perform acceptably against the monthly budgets set by the Company, in all categories.

6. Regional Meetings – Oversee the content of, and chair, the Franchise and Town Meetings in the assigned region.  Attend all Advisory Council meetings and chair the meeting in the absence of the COO or VP & GM.

7.  Promotions – Oversee the coordination of carrier promotions and product offerings with AdOne. Assist in development of advertising to support promotions. Develop new promotion concepts with franchisees, and present these concepts to AdOne for implementation.

8.  New Store Development – Responsible for the start-up of new stores, the transfer of existing stores, and the overall growth of the assigned market, in coordination with the Growth Department as appropriate. 

9.  Corporate Liaison – Responsible to ensure that all corporate directives and carrier information is received by the stores and DOS’s.  Also responsible to ensure that all store issues are addressed in an appropriate time frame.

10.  Relationships – Directly responsible to ensure that all franchise owners experience a good relationship of ATI and its employees.  It is imperative that all stores are treated equally as it relates to programs, processes, and management, regardless of the volume done in the store.

11.  Inter-Department Management – Coordinate with all senior and executive staff members as necessary to resolve field issues.  Directly responsible to ensure that the field needs are addressed and resolved by carriers and ATI, as appropriate.
