We are looking for the following talented individuals to join our growing teams at our corporate office in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara.  E-Commerce Design Manager

This position is responsible for designing and maintaining the company’s websites and assuring that all online advertising and marketing programs are visually brand appropriate.  This individual ensures the accuracy and timeliness of the website launches and creates appropriate web designs to support the brands’ image. This individual is also assists with planning and implementation of web development projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

§ Design and maintain web pages that reflect the company’s brands in terms of imagery, colors and copy.

§ Create content for the TTA and IB websites to support merchandise, special collections, and promotional offers for each brand.

§ Responsible for overall web site "look and feel" obtaining direction from VP Marketing & Director E-Commerce

§ Merchandise web sites to showcase best selling, unique, new products and periodic promotions.

§ Work with inventory and merchants on featured product selection for TTA and IB web sites.

§ Develop web pages in accordance with aggressive production schedules to ensure a timely refresh of website design and product content.

§ Manage web production calendar and its related milestones.

§ Create efficient content production work flows to facilitate timely web site content refresh cycles.

§ Manage the Web Production Specialist.

§ Supervise product image preparation working with pre-press team, Scene7 IPS and web production specialist.

§ Design email marketing content as required.

§ Develop new e-mail templates in accordance with evolving industry practices.

§ Responsible for making “final changes� to all TTA and IB emails receiving direction from VP Marketing & Director E-commerce ensuring that content meets best practices with appropriate branding and clarity.

§ Keep up to date with evolving web standards staying abreast of changes to HTML, XHTML, and CSS.

§ Plan on-going development projects to implement evolving web standards and e-commerce features on TTA and IB websites.

§ Design website user interfaces in accordance with usability principles and web standards best practices.

§ Work with 3rd party vendors to develop, plan, and implement website development projects.

§ Assist in development of web site functional specifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND EXPERIENCE

§ Expertise with web development standards, HTML, XHTML, DOM, CSS, and basic JavaScript

§ Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Mac OS X

§ Mastery of image file formats and expertise in managing text content across print and web

§ Basic knowledge of XML and its associated applications

§ Experience with web site content management systems

§ Experience managing content on enterprise web sites.

§ 2+ years experience with web site design and development

§ Experience with Scene7 Image production system helpful

§ B to C E-Commerce experience helpful

§ Knowledge of printing processes and workflow helpfulPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Use of hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch.  The employee must be able to move around the office and sit at a computer for extended lengths of time.
