District Manager / Birmingham

THE COMPANY: A privately held hardgoods/softgoods retailer with multiple divisions. They are looking for team players with character and integrity with a knack for growing a team and a proven track record of success.

 

 

DISTRICT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Build revenue, increase sales and profits for 8 to 10 stores ($20mm volume) in the southern Alabama territoryControl expenses, reduce shrink and payroll costsApply and teach effective selling techniquesHire, train and motivate store managers and associatesEnsure a consistent, quality store experience for customers

 


DISTRICT MANAGER QUALIFICATONS:
Candidates can live in either Birmingham, AL or Montgomery, AL area.

· OVER ACHIEVERS ONLY!! Looking for candidates who are interested in growth!!

· Must have prior experience as a Retail District Manager; if you have not been a DM you will not be considered.

· Proven ability to increase sales and store profitability

· Proven ability to network, recruit, train, develop and promote associates

· Ability to travel weekly to stores within designated district

· Strong visual merchandising skills and operations background
