Director of Taxes (Retail)

A national retailer seeks an experienced Director of Taxes to join their team and take over a department.  This is not a new position.

 

Will relocate the right candidate

 

 

 

Job Description:Management, planning & reporting on all company taxes (income, franchise, sales & use, real estate, etc.)Placement of corporate insurance coveragePreparation of detailed budgets & forecastsManagement of auditsSetting the tax strategy

 

Qualifications:MUST have CPA!!!MUST have a degree in Accounting – MBA in taxation is a major plus!MUST have five to ten years tax experienceMUST have retail experienceMUST have clear knowledge of Sales & Use taxExperience in the private sector preferable
