Leadership of a team to drive sales, profit, and innovation. Collaboration and alignment between Perishable organization and Consumer Brands.Qualifications:• 4 yr College Degree, MBA preferred• 8-10 years Consumer Packages Goods and/or Retail Management experience in perishable categories.• Proven ability in building and managing a consumer-driven business to sales and profit targets.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Strong leadership and team development skills.• Strong strategic and critical thinking skills.• Good knowledge of perishable P&L’s and operating practices.• Self starter.• High sense of urgency.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Leadership of Consumer Brand Senior Brand Managers (SBM’s). • Develop and manage the CB Annual Planning and Targets for Perishables (Sales, Penetration, AGP). Drive alignment of Consumer Brands Plans with Perishable Consumer Demand plans.• Primary point of contact to the President/GM Corporate Perishables. • Align and optimize Consumer Brands Innovation and New Product Development Team with Consumer Demand.• Leadership for team on New Item Product Management (Drive collaboration of Strategic Sourcing, Consumer Demand, Product Development, Brand Management, and Marketing in support of product innovation.)• Leadership and alignment of various Daymon resources and support team.• Drive alignment and collaboration with Safeway Manufacturing Plants. Support for Consumer Brands and Consumer Demand to align and optimize Safeway plant assets.
