Location Dodgeville, WI 53533 Status Full Time Job Category Creative/Design Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Designer - Accessories Lands' End is currently searching for a Designer in our Accessories Division.Lands' End is a leading direct merchant of traditionally styled, classic casual wear for adults and children; as well as products for the home. This position is located in Dodgeville, WI.The person in this position is responsible for assisting in the design and development of Lands' End products by interpreting concepts into finished product. They would collaborate with Merchandising and Quality. They are also responsible for helping to develop themes, color, fabrications, silhouettes, and mood for upcoming season as well as working with manufacturers to develop original textiles and patterns. Other responsibilities include conducting raw material research, market research, flat sketches and fashion illustration, detailed specs, and fabric/trim research and allocations. In addition, this person would help to execute seasonal Line plans and follow product development calendar deadlines. They would also communicate with vendors and follow through on sample development.QualificationsQualified candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities: ·A degree in Apparel or Fashion Design or equivalent related work experience. ·The ability to do flat drawings/sketches for design and prototypes ·Possess the ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment. ·Good organizational skills and attention to detail ·Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. ·Knowledge of CAD is helpful ·Must be able to travel.Sears is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
