At Coach you will be in great company! “Coach ranked No. 2…” best in class” in our 11th annual ranking of the best-performing companies in the Standard & Poor's 500-stock index” Business Week, March 2007The primary purpose of this position is to manage a team of architects in the planning, design and execution of new stores, expansions and renovations in Asia, Europe and the Middle East - approximately 60-75 projects per year.The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Retail Architecture to…Manage the International Architecture team of 2 Directors, 4 managers and a Coordinator.Works closely with the President, Coach Japan and the President, Coach Greater China in coordination of the design of Coach-owned and operated stores.Works closely with the Sr. VP and President, International in coordination of the design of distributor owned and operated stores in Korea, SE Asia, Europe and the Middle East.Work closely with Sr. Director International Store Development, in the planning, construction and management of all projects.Facilitate teamwork between the NY-based Architecture Group and the International Store Development teams for the coordination of project construction in their respective markets.Reports to the NY-based VP Architecture.Manage / coordinate budgets and schedules and monitor progress / compliance with design intent.Faciliate successful on-boarding process for distributors in the new emerging markets of India and Brazil.Partner and coordinate with Coach NY-based VM team to ensure planning and coordination of stores.The accomplished individual will possess… Proficiency in AutoCAD 2006 or above, Word, Excel, MS Project Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work and manage independently with strong initiative on multiple projects simultaneously, some with short timelines. Approximately 20% international travel will be required.An outstanding professional will have… Professional degree in Architecture. 20-25 years of experience in international retail architecture and construction. Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
