DIRECTOR OF NORTH ATLANTIC ACCOUNTING TO REPORTING

Position will be located in Knoxville, TN

Job purpose:
To support the transformation of Finance to a more value adding organization.
Maintains and develops the general accounting ledger across North America and Europe including associated management reporting, non-US statutory reporting and tax compliance plus support US GAAP statutory reporting and tax compliance.
Also directs the execution of Treasury and cash management operations through the in-house bank
Key responsibilities:
Maintenance and development of the accounting process within an SAP environment
Provide non US tax, statutory and other regulatory reports
Provide sundry US tax, statutory and regulatory document files
Lead fixed asset accounting and financial support group
Support global cash management and tax planning
Lead inter-company centre of excellence across the North Atlantic region
Maintain internal control environment and team of control specialists supporting the K-C business
Lead in-house bank, responsible for basic cash disbursements and receipts in addition to executing Treasury policy
Provide mergers and acquisitions and other financial change management as appropriate
Drive more accurate, timely and relevant information plus cost efficiency through the elimination, automation and standardization of process across business and geographies
Manage c.100 K-C staff and also relationships with outsource partners for processes within scope
Develops, directs, plans and evaluates financial plans and
policies in budget analysis, financial analysis, treasury
operations, and corporate planning or risk management. This
position is for organizations with a level of management
between the executive level and the manager level. Requirements Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
At least 10 years experience working in a financial management role is essential (ideally 2-3 years operating at Director level)
Experience of change management within a large matrix organization, ideally alongside outsourced operations is essential
CPA/ACA/ACMA or other relevant equivalent qualification is required
Travel - Willing to travel up to 40% including international travel.

Experience of working internationally is highly desirable from both financial management and people management perspective
Experience of working in a shared service centre is highly desirable
Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
