DENIM SALES MANAGER Organization: Perry Ellis International Web Site: mailto:nyjobs@pery.com Location: New York, NY Description: DENIM SALES MANAGER POSITION TYPE: Full Time POSITION REPORTS TO: VP Bottoms JOB SUMMARY: Be PEI's utility denim sales person and sales support person to add the element of product knowledge and romance to enhance presentation of denim products to our accounts. This position requires a versitile and adaptable seller who is not set in a particular mold or way of working. We are running denim in over a dozen brands and major private label programs so the candidate cannot have a narrow account or product focus. We have expanded to include non-denim fabrics that are treated and washed as denim to our offerings. Similarly, we are looking to add women's denim to our assortment as well. As a result we truly need a person who has a strong knowledge of denim fabrics, treatments and washes but who is not stuck in a narrow Pigeon hole in terms of what they sell and who they sell it too. We need a seller who is very open to being a sponge for information about the product and the treatments so that they can pass on the stories and romance to the customers.. TARGET START DATE: ASAP ADDITIONAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Need someone who is very open to learning about the product and how to romance it. Also need someone who is expert in denim and other washed down casual bottoms who can project that to our customers.. LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE: 5-7 YR.. COMPUTER SKILLS: • MS WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT • SYSTEMS TO BE USED: Essentus, Business Objects, Oracle Financial, Microsoft Office, Makeup Order. Interested in a Perry Ellis International, Inc.
