Corporate Trainer with Retail Focus

Position Title: Corporate Trainer

Position summary:

Conducts training and development programs for franchisees and employees

 

Tasks:

Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and

formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group

discussions, videos and classroom lecture.

Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program

effectiveness.

Assess training needs through surveys, consultation with employees and

franchisees, managers, or customer representatives.

 

Skills:

   Soft Skills Training abilities

Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying,

taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as

appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. (Between 5 and 50 people in each setting)

Room Control – Be able to control and manage room to foster excellent learning environment.

Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.

Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the

needs of the audience.

Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and

weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to

problems.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience; Between two and five years.
