Orchard Supply Hardware is one of California’s largest hardware and garden retail chains. With a rich heritage dating back to 1931, Orchard began as a farmers’ cooperative in Santa Clara Valley offering supplies to local growers. Based in San Jose, Orchard Supply Hardware is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck and Co.

Orchard Supply Hardware is currently looking to fill a Manager of Compensation & HRIS.The position is responsible for analyzing and making recommendations regarding compensation systems, pay levels, grade structures, and market information. Oversees HRIS system implementation, updates and maintenance. Establishes and enforces data standards, create reports, and oversees system integrity. Writes, edits, and maintains job descriptions.QualificationsResponsibilities:*Analyze salary administration programs and structures, recommend and implement improvements. *Analyze employee compensation for competitiveness with market levels.*Develop job descriptions, job pricing internal equity, survey analysis with internal benchmark positions.*Administer and prepare communication for annual incentive plan. *Complete and submit salary surveys. *Provide project management of HRIS system installation, upgrade, modification, and optimization. Conduct testing and complete user updates.*Perform routine and custom report development and analysis; turnover and scorecards.*Enhance data integrity through regular audits; analyze data integrity issues, resolve root case and identify areas to increase effectiveness and efficiency.*Compile and analyze data to support HR Team's strategic initiatives, ensure legal compliance of government reporting requirements. *Responsible for file interface delivery between outside third party administrators, including all HRMS applications.*Analyze and monitor HR related metrics.*Provide user training on HRIS system and HR policies and procedures.*Ensure compliance with all processes, procedures, and standards applicable to the position.*Responsible for the definition of user security, job codes, and other tables and fields.*Train associates on HRIS system.*Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or related technical degree.*Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred*3 - 5 years of professional compensation analysis or HRIS required*Principles, practices and administration of technical issues*Microsoft Office Suite*Technology for administration and monitoring of HRIS programs.*HRMS design, administration, structure, functions and design.*Commitment to customer service excellence and teamwork.*Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong listening/influencing skills.*Project management skills*Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.*Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills.*Present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.*Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis.BenefitsIn addition to an outstanding career potential we offer a competitive compensation and benefit package including health, dental, matching 401(k) and employee discount.
