Compensation Analyst

The primary purpose of the Compensation Analyst is to evaluate and analyz salary data. They will also administer company compensation and performance management programs. Essential Functions: Reviews proposed salary actions to ensure conformance with established guidelines and policies Participates in salary surveys and analyzes results to determine organization's market relationship Conducts job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy formulated by human resources executive Participates in enhancement and administration of performance review system to ensure compliance with salary administration guidelines Develops compensation reports from HRIS system based upon management requests Maintains and updates Total Rewards Calendar Maintain bonus list and job code table Develops compensation education (ex. newsletters, presentations, brochures, etc.)  Creates, updates and maintains total reward database and statements Creates and maintains geographical codes for store locations Maintenance of the Equity Award program including annual grants and the Chairman's Award Maintenance of Compensation ranges for headquarter locations as well as stores Ensures compliance with FLSA Special projects as assigned by management  Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferably in a large, corporate retail environment. Works under immediate supervision Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
