Coinstar, Inc. (Nasdaq:CSTR) is a multi-national company offering a range of 4th Wall(TM) solutions for the retailers' front of store consisting of self-service coin counting, electronic payment solutions, entertainment services and self-service DVD rental has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part Time Cash Counter

 

CASH COUNTER – PART TIME (20-25 hours per week)

 

Role and Responsibilities:

·  Counts & verifies money received

·  Verifies balances on collection bags for accuracy

·  Endorses checks and compiles data for bank deposit

·  Handles over and shorts appropriately

·  Prepares bank deposit slips

·  Compiles collection, disbursement, and bank reconciliation reports

·  Assistance with month end paperwork

·  General office support as needed

·  Inventory, receiving, and other warehouse help as needed

 

Preferable Qualifications and Experience:

·  High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

·  Cash handling experience

·  Strong organizational/communication skills

·  Previous office and/or customer service experience required

·  Must be a self-starter and requires minimal supervision

·  Computer, ten key, Excel and Word experience- not mandatory but helpful

·  Strong attention to detail

·  Ability to work overtime as needed

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  High level of professionalism and integrity is a must

·  Strong general mathematical skills

·  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

 

Other Requirements:

·  Background check will be required

· The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more
