Business Development Representative - E-Commerce

General and Key Responsibilities:· Responsible for developing new business as well as maintaining and driving sales with national e-commerce accounts to achieve efficient and profitable sales of the company’s products to targeted levels. · Create plans, analyze data and suggest site changes that drive profitability, sales/conversions, usability and operational efficiencies for Belkin eCommerce Resellers. · Engage with buyers to improve Belkin’s online positioning (improving sell-through, end user awareness, etc.) · Drive strategy that is beneficial for both Belkin and customer. · Understand and apply eCommerce best practices.· Interface with other departments to drive business within accounts and resolve any issues that may arise. · Key personal characteristics include: integrity, ambition, love of sales, drive for growth, enjoy talking with people and building relationships. Specific Responsibilities:· Demonstrate an ability to build and/or establish strong relationships with new accounts and within major existing accounts including product managers, buyers, planners, etc. Define and drive consensus for online sales initiatives· Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established by upper management.· Develop and Execute upon business plans with Business Development Manager, NAM or Sales Director to meet those goals.· Keep a monthly recap of sales calls, including potential opportunity worth in dollars, and be prepared to present that information when requested. Education and Experience Requirements:· College Degree Required· One to three years’ experience in a eCommerce sales- open to all industries· Ability to articulate past experiences/strategies leveraging eCommerce vehicles that can be used for the current position. · Willingness and ability to travel 50% mostly in North America.
