 Job Description

 

General Summary:

 

  House of Brides Couture Store Manager supervises the sales and operations of the store according to the policies and procedures set forth by the company. This includes the areas of:

 Sales PerformanceCustomer RelationsOrder ProcessingAdministrative DutiesStore PresentationInterview and Training

 

Essential Functions:

 Oversee sales floor and assist in closing sales. Ensure each customer’s experience is optimal and achieve maximum profitability for the storeHold and conduct staff meetings.Issue and submit purchase orders.Track non-issued purchase orders, unconfirmed orders, and pending orders. Check-in received customer and stock orders. Generate sales and inventory reports.Create and maintain window and floor displays. Oversee the overall store presentation and delegate employee responsibilities. Correspond with customers and resolve customer issues.  Evaluate and recommend potential employees to upper management.Train and monitor new staff. 

 Qualifications

 Full-time position with salary and full benefits package. 2 or more years in retail management experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. General computer knowledge. Organized individual able to multi-task in busy environment.
