  Local Marketing Specialist--FOR THE FOLLOWING MARKET:Atlanta, GA-Douglasville, Newnan, Columbus Markets PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RESUME TO: hardyb@toysrus.com  Position Purpose:The Local Marketing Specialist will drive sales and guest counts of the designated market andbuild Babies“Râ€�Us brand awareness and loyalty throughout the local market.Position Responsibilities:• Develop and implement a local marketing strategy to increase sales, guest counts andregistry creates while building brand awareness and loyalty in 3-4 designated storeso Work closely with the District Marketing Manager, District Manager, StoreManagers and Selling Assistant Managers to develop a local marketing strategyfor the multiple store marketo Partner with the District Marketing Manager to ensure the strategy meetsobjectives and includes national and district marketing initiatives• Work with the Store Managers (SM) on all marketing initiatives and gain support from theSMs to continue support from the Store Teams.• Execute National, District and Local Marketing plans and events• Execute or Assist in Grand Opening Events as needed• Public Relationso Work with the media on an as needed basiso Media spokesperson• Work with Store Management to ensure that store promotions are executed• Build and maintain relationships within the community (i.e. Hospitals, Physicians and Media)• Responsible for reporting progress and success to the District Marketing Manager• Understanding of return on investment for budgetary purposes• Annual review of marketing effortsQualifications:• Prior advertising/marketing education or experience necessary• Ability to travel to designated stores• Strong leadership, communication, motivation and time management skills• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Ability to work independently and with many levels of management• Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities• Ability to network and form community ties• Ability to work in a diverse environment• Knowledge preferred in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation required
