We are looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Store Manager for our Designer Fragrances & Cosmetic Co. Outlet retail store located in Atlantic City, NJ. Job Summary: Manage store personnel and oversee in-store operations, achieve sales, customer service satisfaction and profitability goals while complying with company policies and procedures. Develop and execute short and long term plans to achieve goals in support of the company strategy. Conduct oneself with integrity, respect and professionalism.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: -Ability to achieve and maximize sales plans and growth through excellent customer service, inventory management, visual merchandising and staff development-Strong entrepreneurial skills with knowledge of competitive marketplace and cost-effective methods to enhance client base -Achieve store's payroll budget goals through efficient staffing and sales productivity-Initiate innovative product promotions and creative marketing strategies-Support the Store Manager in recruiting efforts-Provide employees with ongoing coaching and effective training and development-Enforce company policies and procedures -Apply effective and professional communication skills when addressing clients, staff, peers, District Store Manager, Director of Stores and corporate partners -Adhere to all store operations standards Job Requirements: -1-2 years of experience managing a free standing retail store -Retail and/or cosmetic experience preferred -Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and lead teams-Customer service experience -Effective communication skills -Knowledge of the competitive environment of the beauty industry-History of holding positions of increasing responsibility-Strong analytical and creative marketing skills to drive business performance-Basic computer skills -Must be willing to work flexible hours and to work nights and weekends-High School diploma required; College education preferred-Physical Environment: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
