Associate Manager and Furnitures Sales Manager - North & South Las Vegas, NV
Big Lots, Inc. is America’s largest closeout retailer with over 1300 closeout stores nationwide. We are looking for an Associate Manager (entry level) and Furniture Sales Manager for our stores in North Las Vegas and South Las Vegas, NV.Essential Duties:1. Performs store opening/closing responsibilities when scheduled to do so.2. Ensures appropriate level of customer service throughout the store.3. Responsible for all bookkeeping responsibilities to include verification of deposits, merchandise transactions, price changes, cashier balancing, trailer reconciliation and weekly payroll in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager.4. Provides front-end register and service desk direction including check, void, return and credit card approval and associate break and lunch assignment in absence of CSS.5. Assumes responsibility of store operation when acting as Manager on duty.6. Aids Assistant Manager-Operations with cashier training.7. Completes other duties as required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:1. High School, GED or equivalent work experience required.2. Strong customer service and communication skills required. Basic PC knowledge and skills preferred.3. Ability to work within a flexible schedule required.4. One year retail sales experience preferred.5.
