Associate Buyer, Shoes Amazon.com Shoes team is looking for a smart, driven, candidate who is successful in providing strong support functions in a retail environment. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable working independently to solve problems and have the ability to handle multiple tasks to achieve deadlines. The ideal candidate will enjoy working hard, have an aptitude to think outside of the box and provide strategies to improve processes. The candidate should have strong communication skills as building and maintaining strong vendor relationships is a must. Analytical skills, financial analysis, negotiation aptitude are essential. Primary job responsibilities range from managing: Item/Vendor Set-up and Maintenance Qualitative Detail Pages Imaging process, Pricing Vendor Relations The right candidate will be career oriented with a goal of becoming promoted to Buyer. The candidate will be flexible, action & results oriented, self-starting with a comfort of utilizing new tools and computer databases. The candidate must be able to work in a highly demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must. The candidate must by highly organized and have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point). The candidate should have a minimum of two years of associate buying experience or other related experience. BA required.
