Area Sales Coordinator for High-End Apparel Company!

General Overview:

 

The Area Sales Coordinator position will be responsible for assisting the Senior Account Executive with the day to day activities relating to all aspects of sales functions such as:

Shipping management, sample management, preparation for all sales directed meetings, order maintenance, working with all internal systems such as BMS, Cognos, and AS400.

Spreadsheet maintenance for all sales tools, assisting Regional Coordinator Manager with all aspects of door level merchandising and training tools.  Assist with special projects.

 

Responsibilities:

 Daily monitoring of shipping and updating of shipping log.  Insure that orders are meeting ship windows, communicating any issues to the Senior Account Executive.  Assist with monthly delivery management by monitoring booked orders versus projected units in BMS weekly.  Tracking all final cuts versus bookings to estimate unit and dollar variances to bookings.  Communicating with allocation to insure that any necessary cutbacks are executed properly. Responsible for assisting with inventory management of overages by completing worksheet and communicating overage compliance to Macy’s monthly based on inventory, insuring orders are received and shipped complete. Monitor product delivery status for on time delivery and unit accuracy to meet order expectations.  Manage all aspects of shipping such as edi order confirmation and accuracy, communicating any discrepancies to buying office, monitoring of purchase order status and shipping execution, assist with the requesting of extensions when necessary.  Assist Regional Coordinator Manager with all aspects of door level merchandising and training tools such as mannequin looks, style guides, by door cluster assortment guides and merchandising guide. Shoot mannequin looks for each delivery for merchandising guide, coordinating with design and photo lab. Assist with monthly projecting of seasonal financial flow plans and sales and stock by door plan/actual.  Print weekly sales reports and participate in best seller and weekly sales meeting. 

 

 

Success Measures: (measurable goals and objectives) Complete and timely shipping of monthly deliveries.  Proper execution of all sample needs. Timely execution of door level merchandising and training tools.  Timely information to sales management regarding product delivery and shipping.  Preparedness for all sales meetings.

 

 

Required Experience and Qualifications: (degrees, specific functional skills, professional experience, knowledge, proven accomplishments etc.)

 

Computer skills.  Excellent communication and organization skills.  Ideal candidate will have a business degree with fashion industry experience.
