Area Manager - NY, DE & East PA

Nationwide provider of retail services seeks to hire an Area Manager in the Northeast region.  Territory includes areas in and between upstate NY, Eastern PA and Delaware.  This position is responsible for managing activities within the district and ensuring objectives are met in relation to; profitability, customer satisfaction, productivity, personnel management, and quality.  The Area Manager will also be responsible for revenue growth and expense management.


RESPONSIBILITIES:Review and monitor staffing levels regularly; update Regional Manager on staffing needs within assigned district.Build and maintain relationships with customers at the local and district level in order to ensure ongoing, high quality level of service.Maintain continuous visibility with store leadership where service is being performed.Implement and oversee large projects during peak periods to assure high service and quality levels are maintained.Partner with Human Resources to recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, and counsel employees, in order to build a strong District.Monitor spending within assigned District, and works within budgetary guidelines.Monitor and review Field Technician work schedules.Assure that Field Technicians receive the necessary training to do their job in a safe, effective manner.Communicate, implement, and ensures compliance of all company policies, programs, and standards.Manage time effectively through keeping priorities in order; maintain general organizational skills through personal planning.Demonstrate proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills, in order to handle critical situations.Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.3-5 years retail/retail services experience managing multi-store operations.Previous experience managing a remote workforce.Ability to travel at least 50%.Proficient in MS Office applications.
