Business/Strategic Management Area Manager BASIC FUNCTION We have an exciting opportunity for an AREA MANAGER in our Denver / Aurora District!  This position is responsible for the overall daily operations in an assigned geographical area (15-30 locations), The Area Manager is responsible for managing the local P&L, staffing, recruiting, scheduling, store set up and implementing the marketing initiatives.  MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES  Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L.  Accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets in the assigned geographical area. Maintain relationships with brokers, property managers and landlords as well as coordinate with facilities to determine Capex budget and purchases, contractor and new office build-out, design and completion schedules.  Work with the Regional Director to review and approve locations for stores. Ensure organizational capability and effectiveness.  Set targets for recruiting, hiring and training seasonal staff in the assigned geographical area. Identify promotable individuals and provide assistance and mentoring in developing skills needed for advancement.  Delegate administrative duties as needed and directly supervise the activities of Office Managers, tax preparers and other seasonal staff.  Responsible for training the staff on office, system and procedural operations, tax software functionality and fraud detection and investigations. Ensure that stores excel in customer service and implement marketing initiatives while maintaining corporate quality and compliance standards.  Handle associate and client issues in a timely manner.  JOB REQUIREMENTS Education:College degree in Business Administration and/or equivalent related business experience. Experience/Requirements:One to three years’ previous management experience in a multi-site environmentConsumer retail experience necessaryTax knowledge preferredStrong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skillsDemonstrated ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced working environmentProficiency with ExcelReliable transportation, own insurance and driver’s license in good standingAbility to work flexible hours during peak seasonMust be able to hold an Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN)See Job Description An Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
