The candidate will be responsible for production support of various systems and programs along with working with development teams to deliver custom applications. Other duties will include design requirements, coding, configuration, and documentation. Candidate should have knowledge in technical aspects of web and windows application development using Microsoft .NET 1.1/2.0 development and C#.net. Preferred but not required, the candidate will have experience and knowledge in the following areas: • Design patterns and development best practices leveraging Visual Studio 2005 and Team Foundation Server • ASP.net, XML, SQL, Visual Basic • Database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 • Report building using SQL Reporting Services • Front-end/GUI design and development, including JavaScript and CSS • Component-based and service-oriented architectures • Web services • Security considerations in application design and deployment Experience with SharePoint usage, administration or development is highly desired. Candidate should also be familiar with phases of a project lifecycle including: • Preparing business process and technical documentation • Assisting the development team in building solutions • Participating in technical quality of project deliverables including team code review, unit testing and build procedures • General Project Management skills Qualifications: The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree (or related experience) with demonstrated knowledge in .NET architecture and development. In addition, good communication and presentation skills in interacting with business partners are required. Candidate must exhibit leadership qualities on previous projects.
