A very large national retailer specializing in women apparel, accessories, intimates and footwear is seeking an experienced Buyer for Bottoms to join their team.  If you are able to forecast fashion trends and translate into customer desired products this is your opportunity to join a dynamic team and advance your career.

 

 

Job Description:

 Develop seasonal financial and assortment plansManage sourcing and production to achieve desired inventory levelsAchieves financial objectives including, sales & margin $, BOM, OTB, Inventory levels, turn, AP$ and cost goals.Select, train and develop direct reportsShop the market to identify new business opportunitiesDevelop seasonal line plans for design that includes number of styles, target delivery and costsSelects and recommends assortments in line review meeting process

 

 

Job Requirements:

 5 years experience as a women’s apparel buyer and/or merchandiser2-3 years of specialty women’s apparel retail experienceAbility to forecast fashion trendsStrong leadership/managerial experienceStrong negotiating skillsStrong analytical skillsBachelors degree in retail merchandising
