Analyst, Sales & Use Tax
| E-Mail This Job | View Our Company Profile   The purpose of this position is to provide support in the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, as well as estimated tax payment calculations and extensions. Gather and review monthly compliance data; manage monthly compliance calendar; assemble audit support documentation Serve as primary contact with outsourced return provider Document monthly reporting issues Perform account reconciliations and prepare monthly recurring journals Provide Sales and Use Tax audit support Handle state notices Prepare miscellaneous returns Provide business tax support Serve as SAP and Vertex tax support backup Update POS system for retail stores Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax or related field Minimum 3-5 years of Sales Tax experience in a large CPA firm or corporation Experience with Tax Research as well as Sales/Use Tax Accounting knowledge Sales Use Tax experience in an SAP environment; Knowledge of purchasing processes in SAP and preparing journals in SAP Vertex'O Series' knowledge preferred Additional Qualifications Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Extensive knowledge of technical issues related to tax returns and compliance Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with key internal business partners Ability to work independently and set priorities
