Allocator/Distributor for Urban Retail

Objective: To maximize sales by developing sound distribution plans that support Company goals for sales, turn and margin.

Responsibilities: Ensure the financial success of one or more departments by meeting or exceeding sales, gross margin, and inventory turn goals Participate in the implementation of the merchandise allocation software Recap and communicate location and size selling performance Track inbound receipts for assigned departments Execute the release of initial inventories and in-season replenishment to stores Execute size, pre-pack, and DC-split plans as part of purchase order process Collaborate with buying team on basic replenishment styles to drive inventory requirements to meet in-stock targets Collaborate with buying team to ensure timely and accurate execution of new store openings Develop knowledge of geographic and store-attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field communication Participate in OTB, Strategy, and Hindsight meetings, contributing input on distribution strategies Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge Manage communication regarding inventory/replenishment with field contacts, as needed Work in synergy with Planner and DMM toward common goals.Allocation Analyst, Planner, and DMM are considered to be the leadership team for each division.Required SkillsJob Skills: Expert command of retail math concepts and applications Strong statistical analysis skills Strong communication skills Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills Ability to work well within a team environment Technical skill proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Required Experience

Two or more years experience in a planning or allocation analysis role. Some experience in buying or store management is a plus.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's in Finance or Business related degree preferred
