Advertising Manager

A well-established retail company is currently seeking an Advertising Manager to join our team, and lead our Advertising Department. This position will facilitate company wide establishment and maintenance of strong advertising controls. In addition to managing the ongoing Advertising functions for the company. We are looking for a hands-on employee in a friendly, upbeat, and team environment.

 Job Description      

  Total project management and coordination from conception through completion Sales literature, newsletters, product manuals, advertisements, press releases, presentations, posters,  stationery, and business cards, direct response mailings, etc. Editing - newsletters, proposals, and all marketing materials All corporate activities, such as Market, orders, budgets, and exhibits Plan & prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products, working with customers, company officials, sales departments, and advertising agencies Inspect layouts & advertising copy, and edit scripts, audio / video tapes, and other promotional material for adherence to corporate specifications Take a leadership role in moving organization to a new level of performance by proactively providing leading-edge advertising plans, practices, policies and initiatives  Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all event promotions for all departments  Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns and programs that meet identified buyer targets Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or product to be advertised Manage all sponsorships / donations and grow the program through community involvement Inventory Control of all advertising materials – i.e.  Event Banners / P.O.P Research & Compile all data to send out weekly for competitive ad tracking analysis as well as maintain integrity check system for all newspapers insertions Assist in tracking campaign successes and failures & maintain all ad hoc projects that are advertising related Vendor liaison between printers, artists, premium houses, mailing services and all other related vendors Prepare & negotiate advertising contracts for annual budget & program costs as part of campaign development.  Oversee creative service agencies, advertising department, & responsible for the final creative work Skills Needed
