Accounting Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

ACCOUNTING POSITION

 

 

Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm

 

Days:  Mon-Friday

 

Duties Include: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, heavy customer phone contact, Credit & Collections, accurate data entry, sorting, filing, research, special projects.  Interacting with all levels of staff, from warehouse to VP’s.  Prioritize workloads. Other general Accounting duties.

 

Skills necessary- General Accounting experience, at least 2-3 yrs prior Accounting skills, preferably in trucking or warehousing industry.  Must be able to speak, read and write English, good communication skills, detail oriented, able to work in a fast paced environment, be a team player.

 

PC skills needed: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, & Accounting Software (MAS)

 

Skills helpful but not necessary:  Spanish speaking.

 

Salary: In the 30’s per Year Commensurate w/ Exp.
