We are currently seeking a Vice President of Finance to provide strategic direction and corporate oversight of all financial activities for Ovations Food Services, including finance, accounting, and information technology for all of our operating facilities throughout the US and in Canada.  This position will be based out of our Home Office in Tampa, Florida.

The ideal candidate for this key executive position will report directly to the President and the Chief Operating Officer on all financial matters.  He/she must be highly proficient using Great Plains/Dynamics/FRX financial reporting software, must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, and be able to effectively handle multiple complex projects simultaneously with limited staff.  Must be a flexible, positive, proactive, and strategic team player who is able to communicate effectively and constructively to the field, as well as provide direction and support to the finance/accounting team at the home office.  Strong leadership and mentorship skills are requisite to this position.  Individual must be technologically savvy, able to lead the IT professionals to match information systems and business needs.  Holding impeccable ethics and possessing sound judgment, in addition to adhering to the highest standards of confidentiality are mandatory, as is consistent attention to detail.Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in a senior level Accounting/Finance position in a professional services or contract food service company are required.  MBA/CPA certification are a plus.

Additional key competencies are as follows:

·Facilitate the annual budgeting process and monthly budget reviews.  Manage the preparation of financial forecasts, short and long term profit plans for all facilities.

·Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

·Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and profitability.

·Oversee daily operations of accounting, internal audit, finance and IT departments.

·Oversee all company accounting practices, including budget preparation, AP/AR, payroll, cash management, taxes, reconciliations, monthly close, preparation of financial statements and tax and audit functions.

·Deliver accurate and timely accounting records and financial statements and ensure proper documentation is maintained in compliance with reporting requirements.  Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

·Directs internal audits of receipts, disbursements, assets and liabilities.

·Analyzes company operations to identify opportunities and areas that need to be expanded, downsized or eliminated.

·Interprets operating results of the company and makes recommendations to senior management on profit improvement opportunities.

·Assures compliance with state, county and local tax authorities, as required by local legislation, including tax collecting, reporting and licensing.

·Prepares and analyzes monthly and quarterly cash flow statements to ensure best practices in cash management.
