Staff Accounting Specialist

CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants in 48 states and five countries has an immediate opening in our Store Accounting Department for a highly motivated Store Accounting Specialist. The responsibilities of this position include: Responsible for assisting Specialist I calling and recording (gathering data by using Mainframe and Web-based program) company revenues, cash deposits, credit card information,, etc. for all restaurants, as needed (Mondays, holidays). Preparing daily call schedule and tracking any issues that may arise. Performs final audit review on a weekly basis. If any discrepancies, instructs Polling Specialists to review and correct, if necessary, and report back. Support Polling Specialists with any Polling issues. Will support the Administrator as needed. Provide support to home office departments regarding field operations accounting issues; i.e., Auditors, Tech Services. Distribute information to the field, as requested. Coordinate and review missing safe log procedures. Reconciling miscellaneous Accounts Payable and pre-paids at the location level, making adjustments or corrections as necessary. Special projects as needed, for Manager and Administrators. Qualifications include: General Accounting experience required and restaurant location experience preferred. High School Diploma required, some college preferred. MS Excel and Word experience desired. Data entry experience, 10 key. Must have good verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent Customer Service and analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines.
