Overall Responsibilities of a General Manager:

-         Overall performance of unit.

-         Proficiency at all levels, including recipe knowledge, service standards, sanitation practices, FOH and Kitchen management functions.

-         Develop and meet financial targets and goals.

-         Assure proper staffing and training of employees and management personnel in unit.

-         Aware and responsible for quality of kitchen operations

-         Oversee and assure that Kitchen Manager is maintaining all areas of job responsibility

-         Assure all Standard Operating Procedures are upheld.

-         Assure weekly management meetings and employee departmental meetings are ongoing and productive.

-         Assist with other projects as assigned.
